Department of Commerce

Department of Commerce was established in July 2018. It is a major academic department in the college. In 2018-19, total 114 students had taken admission in F.Y.B.Com. including 49 boys & 65 girls. The department has offer Under Graduate programme. The objective of B.Com. programme is to provide knowledge, skills & develop the talents among the students to face the challenges in Trade, Commerce & Industry. The department runs two specialization subjects according to current need of the business i.e. Cost & Works Accounting & Banking & Finance (2019 pattern). The department has well prepared to initiate NEP 2020 successfully from 2024 year. In 2024-25, total 246 students have taken admission including 132 in FYBCOM (NEP), 60 students in SYBCOM (20l9 pattern) & 54 Students in TYBCOM (2019 pattern). Students are taking actively participation in Cultural, Sports& Commerce Festival activities of College. The department had organized various Guest Lectures & Seminars to impart knowledge on current business & commerce related topics like GST, Recent Trends in Accounting, Share Market, NEP 2020 and Career Opportunities in Commerce & Economics.
